Picking Foxgloves

Mornings like this I remember how incredibly lucky I am to live where I do. Glenalmond, yes that is the glen of the River Almond, is a wonderful haven of greenery. The freshness in the air is like no other. When it has been raining, like it did last night, the dampness seeps through the sodden leaves and mossy scents juxtapose  wild garlic. Up the road, near our golf course is a woodland area, which was, when I was fourteen a veritable forest. Now fairy trails play through paths of foxglove boarders. Deep racing greens flick like an artists pallet.

Just another..

Just Another Magazine gets tough on this seasons uber-feminine colour palette…It’s still pretty in sugarcoated pink, but not as you know it.  Model Lily shows us how to take sheer chiffons, soft/luxurious lace and butter soft leather to bring grungy glamour to the girlish looks of JAM’s hard-edged take on this staple Spring trend.

S.C.U.M

I shot these kids a couple of months ago at an NME gig at Leeds Cockpit.
I hadn't heard of them pre gig... post gig I was set on purchasing their vinyl. (for details see bellow)

Afternoon Tea…

Posted on April 27, 2012 by kellygordon1
Afternoon Tea…With Bea! Bea’s of Bloomsbury that is and what an afternoon treat it was. We could hardly contain our excitement as one by one the beautifully wrapped mini marshmallow squares, meringues and cakes were unveiled in the office. The raspberry marshmallow squares were a firm favourite and the millionaire’s shortbread was the perfect indulgent accompaniment to a cup of coffee.Of course if you want to drop by Bea’s they have a fantastic tea shop on Theobalds Road – however you can also find them, more recently, at the Maltby Street Market from 9am – 2pm so if you are looking for your sweet fix this weekend, they are well worth a visit! ''We were also very fortunate to have our talented work experience student, Kate Woods, on hand to take these great photographs!''

Jubilee fever

Posted on April 30, 2012 by michelejameson1

Jubilee feverWe’ve just been to see Asda’s new summer food range, which has a wonderfully patriotic feel in time for the Jubilee celebrations. Beautifully arranged, as you can see here from Kate Woods’ fantastic photographs (see her work at katewoodsphotography.blogspot.com), we marvelled at a jolly array of red, white and blue cupcakes, bronze, silver and gold ice creams, Union Jack cake stands and a fabulous strawberry and blueberry-decorated cream sponge. Basically, the store has all you need for your street party or summer picnic (the cream tea picnic portions are a novel idea). Our June issue, out next week, has lots of ideas for your Jubilee festivities, including decorations, table-laying and fun accessories. Let us know what you have planned…
